Refresh Error - Duplicate Vale & Many to One
Sometimes Power BI seems getting crazy on relations because of metadata cache. Simply rename the column in Report view and try again, if it resolves you can correct the column name again.
Renaming the Column did not work. However, I did create a duplicate of the "Extended" Column, then deleted the orginal column, moved the copy and renamed it back to "Extended". This fixed the issue, at least for now. Why I do not know.
I'm still confused on the orginal error as it stated that the my "Extended" column was on the oneside on the Many to one relationship. This column is on the Many side.
I have 15 Seperate Sales Force Reports, of that "2026 PBI Curing" is one of these. I also have an excel file that is being pulled in, so a total of 16 simular data sources that have the details on sales transactions. I have appended these reports in to a new table "All Divisions Table RS". This is the table you can see on my model veiw.
I did look at the model veiw and the "Extended" column is not listed as the Key Column. This is empty. No column in the reprot is list as the Key column in this these tables
FormworkFan In your 1st post you told that The "Extended" or Sales column in my transactional tables are listed as my sort columns by default.
Could you please give some more info about this statement?
Is your "Extended" field marked as the sort column for other field in the "All Divisions Table RS" table? if so, there should be just one register in the "extended" column for each different register in the column that it helps sorting. If you have more than one register please try changing the column that sorts (you can create a new column with alfanumeric or added numbers to have different values for each time there is an Extended register that has more than one register in the Column to be sorted by the ExtendedColumn.
