Refresh Error - Duplicate Vale & Many to One
- 6 months ago
Sometimes Power BI seems getting crazy on relations because of metadata cache. Simply rename the column in Report view and try again, if it resolves you can correct the column name again.

Renaming the Column did not work. However, I did create a duplicate of the "Extended" Column, then deleted the orginal column, moved the copy and renamed it back to "Extended". This fixed the issue, at least for now. Why I do not know.
I'm still confused on the orginal error as it stated that the my "Extended" column was on the oneside on the Many to one relationship. This column is on the Many side.
FormworkFan Please confirm which table in this model is the one associated with the Table "2026 PBI Curing" that is reported in the warning error. Please confirm if there is any table in this model with a field called "Extended" in the ONE side of the relationships.
FormworkFan Please check if the "Extended" column is set as a primary key.
In Power BI Desktop:
1. Switch to Model View
2. In the TablePane Select the Table with the Issue (not the column "Extended")
3. In the Propeties of that Table check if it has a Column selected as a KeyColumn
If there is a column selected as a KeyColumn please adjust as needed.
If this response was helpful in any way, I’d gladly accept a kudo.
