Refresh Data from Power BI Web

Hi All,

i got this error while refeshing from Web, Refreshing from Desktop is working fine

You can't schedule refresh for this dataset because the following data sources currently don't support refresh:

Data source for SALESDATA2020
Query contains unsupported function. Function name: File.Contents

I doesnt have Pro license, maybe bec

pro licence doesn't give you more functionailty it ony allows sharing and distribution to more than one person, and more capacity. are you updating from on prem data - has it always worked? have you got a gateway set up if you using on prem data?

Thank you for your reply,

in the first link that you provided, that list has CSV file is supported refresh thru BI service.  

but I cant refresh my data set.  I used function query to append data from a folder of CSV files. 

I cannt setup a gateway connection also.

Is there any solution to have a schedule refresh.
