Rebuild 'Legacy report' Bookmarks for Cross-Report Filtering
Hi Sonicks ,
This depends on what the bookmarks do exactly, but I would look into applying Field Parameters, Slicers and Calculation Groups.
It seems to me that someone built all this bookmarks just to have the default values of specific filters, this is not a good option since bookmarks are very difficult to maintain.
I would probably start by trying to build a different UI/UX experience.
Thank you for your response—I understand your point.
However, I currently lack the technical knowledge and experience to implement this correctly.
Therefore, I’m looking for concrete examples where filters from the filter pane are stored as bookmarks and then converted into a data model that handles the filtering instead.
Do you have any experience with this?

There is no direct way to see this, in terms of the bookmarks this is a big miss on th ebookmarks but you don't have a direct option to check what are the filters applied to a bookmark.
You can try and use Power BI field finder to check what are the filters used on specific pages:

You can also store the PBIX file has Power BI project and on the folder for bookmarks check what are the filter applied.
