Reading file from Stoarge

Hello Team,

I tried to connect to storage and folder created in that. But I am not able to select the files to read.

When I clicked folder from Power BI. It is reading metadata of files like (creation date, access date, file extension etc)

Could you please let me know how I can select the file and read the contents in Poer BI

Thanks

Satyajit

Hello,

From Poer BI desktop I choose Azure services-> Storage Account

From storage account I choose the container

Once I clicked on container it shows me all metadata for container of files and folder inside.

But not allow me to choose any file or go inside any folder.

Thanks

Hi @satyajittarai

There are several connector:

Power BI Data Lake Storage Gen1 connector

Power BI Data Lake Storage Gen2 connector

Azure blob storage connector

To connect to a specific file (files) only without importing the entire folder, just paste the complete file url.
