Hello community! I was trying to do something but I cannot get it right...
Imagine the scenario where you have a table like the one below.
My goal is to achieve an independent rank for each period.
Can you help me?
Period | Country | Value | Desired Output (Rank) |
Period A | EUA | 10 | 2 |
Period A | Canada | 12 | 1 |
Period B | EUA | 11 | 1 |
Period B | Canada | 9 | 2 |

Hi @JorgePinho
You can use the below DAX to add a new column:
Rank =
RANKX (
FILTER ( 'Table', 'Table'[Period] = EARLIER ( 'Table'[Period] ) ),
'Table'[Value],
,
DESC
)
If this post helps, please consider accepting it as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly.
