I am trying to create a ranking tie breaker based on one measured column first then use a non measured column next to break any ties but then keeping the ranking going.
I have a measured column from Table1 creating a "Total Rank" of various items. If there is a tie, I want it to look at the seniority dates in another column from Table2 to decifer that based on who has seniority, they should get the winning rank. The names are already linked together from both Tables.
I have considered using the dates as a whole number instead in date format to make the calculation easier.
Here is what I want it to do below.
I have read many different articles and other forums. I am struggling to find anything similar with using measured columns.
Hi @christinemchap ,
Can you please share a pbix or some dummy data that keep the raw data structure with expected results? It should help us clarify your scenario and test to coding formula.
