Helper IRLS : restrict one username
Hi,
I need help... 😞
I need to restrict the data to one user. All the other user must have access to all data.
So I create a new role.
[2nd manager] = USERPRINCIPALNAME ().
This user have access to one team, and don't have the other line. But all the other person don't have any access.
Some user don't be in the table "username" (because they are worker from other services). So I need to tell to power bi : "If the user XXX is connected, show the line where he's mentionned. But ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE have access to the complete table".
Is it possible ?

Hello chestercas ,
You can still have the same setup you did and when specifying the users in power bi service to the rls, you just add this only user's email.

We don't have access to pbi service. We publish on a specific server of my factory... so i don't have this function. I must do it in role gestion 😞thank you !

chestercas,But role level security is set in service, you can't set if you don't have access to the service.
