RLS question in order to develop a multi-user external model

I have some doubts related to RLS, especially before a project to share reports with different tenant projects, internal and external to the organization in its majority.

 

1) In RLS limitations, talk about what is allowed for direct query and ETL. Does ETL means "import"?
2) To add members to a previously defined role in desktop for RLS, these members can only belong to the same tenant? Is this expected to change? Does this mean that external sharing (different tenant) is not compatible with models that use RLS?

    1. I think it's "import". Please also refer to the the discussions below service-admin-rls

    2. We can apply RLS on external sharing now. Please refer to Share B2B. (NOTE: it's a download link)
