RLS has moved to Power BI Desktop?

I am getting this message now that "RLS has moved to Power BI Desktop

Any previously defined RLS security is no longer working. You will need to re-create RLS in Power BI Desktop.

In the Power BI Service, you can add members to roles you create."

But how/where in the desktop version can I add users to the roles? I do not see that option anywhere

It is in the Modeling tab.

You set the roles in Desktop. You set permissions in the service based on email, group, etc.

Once you publish, go to the dataset, click the ellipses, then Security.

The roles you created in the desktop are on the left, then you enter emails and groups as needed.

DAX is for Analysis. Power Query is for Data Modeling

This error also appears if you haven't yet created a role, or if the roles you created in PBI Desktop haven't loaded into the service yet

Similar problem; all other dashboard RLS appeared and we have a pre-defined groups in power bi as an organisation and I usually select those, but I go like Model and Create roles; none of those groups appeared. We have hundreds of people, I cant be entering their name one by one.

How come its only happening with one dashboard and rest of them are working like you can add group stright after selecting security settings.

the new version isnt the easiest tool; missing old power bi...a lot less hassle.
