RLS for connecting to PBI Service Dataset

Hello,

I've a 1st main dataset published on PBI Service with RLS setup and it works fine.

Then, I create a new report in Desktop with dataset connected live (DirectQuery AS) and publish. However, when it's published and I tried to "test it as role" with the userID as usual (already added the same users to Security), the RLS does not work at all.

What happens? How to fix it?

Thanks

@tamnm1601 , The RLS should work because of the dataset. Make sure the user has a viewer role.

Security will not apply to the admin role (workspace) .
