RLS and Viewer and Member Permissions in PREMIUM Workspace

hi 

I would like to know how to prevent users with the contributor role to view the whole report stored in a PREMIUM workspace (with RLS)?

There was an issue mentioned years ago - see the link here https://stackoverflow.com/questions/66125581/rls-and-viewer-and-member-permissions-in-new-workspace , we tried to configure the private/public setting as recommended here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-create-workspaces

but this setting does not exist in Premium workspaces...

Do you know how to set this up?

Hi @Anonymous ，

Workspace members assigned Admin, Member, or Contributor have edit permission for the dataset and, therefore, RLS doesn’t apply to them. If you want RLS to apply to people in a workspace, you can only assign them the Viewer role.

This has nothing to do with whether it is a premium workspace or not, it is by design. For your reference.
