RLS Issue for self service app
Hi All,
I am working on creating app for my workspace. I did achive by creating app and my workspace in also of permium. I have not given access my workspace, instead I have given acess in app were you have an option to include people and grant permission.
My issue here is post sharing URL to respective users whome I gave access. They were not able to access the app and they got an error of RLS. Its asking me to give access to underlaying data set. I have attached the snapshot please do help me out what needs to be done from my end. But I dont want people to give access from my workspace, instead it should work when I give access from app permission tab.
Anonymous When you use RLS you must add the user to the security group AND give access to the app.
You don't need to give them access to the workspace, just click the three dots next to the orange dataset in your workspace anc click Security. Then add the same users who need access to the app to the correct groups in that security screen. You must click apply AND Save.
