RLS - Access denied

Hi all,

In my BI desktop, I have set up a dynamic RLS(using RLS profile and "security filter in both direction") to a few users.

During the testing stage, they feedback that they are not even able to access to the BI.

May I know has anyone come across with this alert?

Is that in the app or workspace? In any case, users or the groups that the users are part of need to be added to the app or workspace, if you're missing that piece.

Thanks @YukiK , may I ask, so even thpugh I have set up the RLS. I still need to put all the names in the "report" --> "manage permission"?

Or directly put all the user as viewers in the workspace?

If the users are only accessing through the app, then you shouldn't need that. You'd add security groups in the permissions tab in the app. But if sharing reports through workspaces, your latter options may be needed. And be sure to add security groups to appropriate RLS roles you defined in your dataset in the PBI servie under "Security".
