Hi everyone,
I'm using REMOVEFILTERS to calculate overall Customer Sales, based on staff_id.
The following works perfectly:
But if I add the same Customer Sales' measure to a variable and then use that variable in CALCULATE instead of the measure, it does not work. It returns Customer Sales for each staff_id, as if REMOVEFILTERS didn't exist.
If a the variable is just storing the Customer Sales measure's result, shouldn't the output be the same?

@Anonymous Yeah, so variables aren't variable in DAX. Once a "variable" is calculated, that's it, the value for the variable remains static. So, what you are doing won't work in DAX.

Got it.
