Hi All,   how to connect with Sql server ?  and what are all the prerequisite to take care?   can anyone give me the steps  to connect it will be helpful.     Best Chanty

Hi ,

 

thanks AlB is it mandate to be installed sql server in desktop?  or if i have user credentials can i directly login and get the tables/vies?

    sorry my bad.

    currently i have  no database installed in my machine.

     

    so i have  sql server db credentials.  

    my question is..   im using desktop   now can i connect the sql server db  or not ?

      You should be able to connect to a SQL server in another machine. Have you tried? do you get any kind of error?
