Recently I started using R to import datasets into Power BI. This all went fine until I opened Power BI and wanted to refresh my data and it didn't work.
I get the following error message:
"Somethin went wrong
A problem occurred while processing your R Script. Here are the technical details: There is an error in XML document(0,0)."
I reversed my changed to the r script I made and the problem keeps occurring. I even opened earlier versions of my Power BI files and still the problem remained. Then I went looking at the r script options and noticed the directory for R was not selected. When I went on to select the correct directory (it was automatically detected), the same error would occur.
I have no idea what happened, but I suspect is has nothing to do with changes to my code but to changes to settings.
I also updated to a new version of Windows today. I don't think this should have anything to do with it, but knowing how computers work, it might just be the problem.
Does anyone have any ideas how to solve this?
Thanks in advance for the advice!
EDIT: SOLUTION:
The solution was quite simple. I just had to reinstall Power BI and it all worked again

Hi @Anonymous ,
You can delete the AppData folder for Power BI Desktop. In my case this folder was located at C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Local\Power BI Desktop. The folder is hidden, you need to set it to be visible. If it doesn't work, you can delete this folder and re-install Power BI.
