I'm looking to develop the below visual, or something similar to it. This is definitely something that can't be done with the default visuals in PBI. First, I'm wondering if anyone might have any ideas where the default visuals could be utilized to communicate the same information, but in a simpler way. Second, I'm wondering which R packages out there might have visual capabilities like this?
ggplot can do the (4 x) scatterplots. But rotating the axes may be a problem for a while as it seems to need (the new) ggplot2 2.2.0 (see https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/cowplot/vignettes/axis_position.html) and Power BI only uses 2.1.0.
And adding background images to plots seems a black art that works for me in R Studio, but not in PBI Desktop. Good luck.
Well it seems complicated to create such visuals but you can use ggplot2. It will not let you down if you know how to write the correct R code.
