Quick Measure Option ==> Selection a Calculation list is empty

Hi All,

I attempted to use the Quick Measure feature in Power BI Desktop, but I noticed that the "Select a Calculation" list is empty. Could you please assist me with resolving this issue?

Hi  @srini_vasan,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Forum Community.

I see that you're facing an issue where the Quick Measure list is empty in Power BI Desktop. As suggested by @lbendlin, it could indeed be a bug in the recent version. Switching to the Report View is workaround, as Quick Measures are often more accessible there.

Additionally, you might want to try the following steps to troubleshoot further:

  • Please make sure you are using the latest version of Power BI Desktop by checking for updates (File → Help → About). Issues like this are often fixed in newer releases.
  • After making changes, please restart Power BI Desktop to resolve any UI issues.

If this post helps, then please give us ‘Kudos’ and consider Accept it as a solution to help the other members find it more quickly.

Thank you.

which version of Power BI Desktop are you using? Seems to be a bug in recent versions.  You can switch to the Report View to see the list.
