Question about report visual level date filters
Hello, I am trying to figure out if there is a way to not have the filter use the time. I field's data type is date. When I type in the date, it gets changed to date time gmt-0400 (eastern day...

i have attached a screen shot that shows the field is set to date in the query editor and data view.
in the report view, the field still shows a time.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the clear screen shots Tracy - it is hard to "imagine" what is happening. I think Eric_Zhang or one of the MS team would have to answer this. It looks like it I could "by design" to me, but I agree it is pretty annoying g if your data type excludes time.
