Question about date sorting for chart

Hi i am new to power bi and am figuring out how to sort the Month Date as right now its showing april, jan, feb  ect. i tried a few things to convert the Text range to date as i export data from exce...

No it just includes the month (January, Feb) since all the data is 2016
