Query stalling at a specific row count?

Anonymous , power query transformation can take time. Check if the merge column join is on text columns can it be done using the number data type column?

Remove any unnecessary steps

Also can that merge be moved at source, so that you do not have perform it at power query

    Hi - I'm not able to move any of the transformations to the source. 

     

    The merge column is currently text - but I could try and adapt it to a number format. I'm using a delimitor to join a couple of different values which functions as a lookup to a separate table.
