Query editor

I create new table using modeling tab but it not show in query editor, what is the problem?

DAX Is a layer we add on top of the data model to perform analytics. It cannot be seen in the Power Query itself. See if my post here helps explain the differences between the two: https://excelwithallison.blogspot.com/2020/08/dax-vs-m.html

@waleed111 Tables created in Edit Query(query editor) /data transformation mode or using enter data , will be visible. Tables of the model table will not be visible in Edit Query(query editor) 

 

See if you can create the table in Edit Query(query editor) mode only

@waleed111 , You see it like Query Editor is the first step and the Data tab is the second step. Whatever you do in the first step is visible to the Second , not a vise versa.

 

In power BI anything done query builder will be visual on the Data model. But data tab changes will not reflect in the query builder.
