Query Parameter URL - Publish to Web
Hi,
I'm having to publish to the web with an external report as customers can't access our gateway.
As its multiple customers with the same report apart from a parameter change for their name, is there a way I can do something to make it one report and make a change on e.g. the URL?
If I can't it means I would have to create and publish 70 different reports.
Thanks

Hi lherbert501 ,
It's important to note that "publish to Web" does not support dynamic URL parameters for filtering data. This means that you cannot change the content of the report for different users by simply modifying the URL.
If you have a web application that your customers use, you could embed the Power BI report into your application using Power BI Embedded.
You can also put the report into the app and share the app with your users, by granting permissions to different users

Hi Anonymous ,
Thanks for your reply. Can I just double check the below options.
- If you have a web application that your customers use, you could embed the Power BI report into your application using Power BI Embedded.
- You can also put the report into the app and share the app with your users, by granting permissions to different users
Do both of these options rely on having an app built? Just thinking this would take a long time to build.
Also, is it possible on premium to share to any customer externally, providing they had a Microsoft email with permissions set?
Thanks again
