Query Folding

Hi all,

I currently have a data set which is query from a Web API (also know as Json).

I want to set up the incremental refresh for this data set but it seems like not support for the query not folding.

Can I transform this to Transform Folding? My Data source is Web type.

Hi @Thai_Nguyen96 ,

You can configure incremental updating for this dataset, it is simply not recommended. The reason why you can consult the documentation:

Query folding

Hi @Anonymous ,

Native Query is only an indication of QueryFolding and only works with SQL.

check this...

https://blog.crossjoin.co.uk/2016/08/02/another-way-to-check-query-folding-in-power-bipower-query-m-...

You can also check web queries with Fiddler if necessary.
