Queries Not Merging Properly

Hello,

 

I am trying to merge two queries and as soon as I merge the query, the dates repeateadly shows up for one country multiple times and also the other countries don't show up which using the drop down menu. Only Afghanistan shows up. Please help. I am posting 2 screenshots. The first one is without the merge and the second one is after merging. I am trying to create a dashboard for CoronaVirus and I got my data from Github. I am posting the links to the csv files here as well.

    Please confirm if you were planning to merge or rather append queries. Although it is handled similarly by the engine there is a difference.
