Q&A Visual Not Showing Upcoming Month Events — Only Current and Past Months Displayed

I’ve reproduced your scenario in Power BI using a sample release calendar like yours. Initially, I observed the same behaviour queries as “Commit in July” didn’t return results even though the July event existed in the data.After investigating, I identified that this happens because the Q&A visual’s NLP engine may implicitly apply a filter on the date field (≤ TODAY()), hence ignoring future-dated entries.
Workaround Implemented:
To address this, I added a calculated column to the dataset:
IsFutureEvent = IF([Date] > TODAY(), "Future", "PastOrToday")This enables more explicit control over filtering in the Q&A visual. For your reference, I’m attaching the .pbix file.
