Q&A: Predefined Answers to Custom Questions

We currently use Q&A visuals in several of our dashboards. They are powerful and useful, but we experience certain limitations.

We have no problems defining unknown terms such as "popular" by using the Teach Q&A feature (e.g. defining popular products as products with high numbers of orders). From here, we can also define that asking "What are the most popular products?" should result in a table of the most-ordered products.

However, we would also like to provide answers to custom questions such as "How are we doing?" and "What is our status?" to our Q&A visuals while also defining how these queries should be answered.

In the case of "How are we doing?", the query should ideally result in a gauge visual with our current total revenue vs our target revenue. We are not able to get this result by asking "How are we doing?", but directly asking "total revenue vs target revenue as gauge" does indeed result in the desired visual (see screenshot below).

It is fully understandable that asking "How are we doing?" is not understood by Q&A. However, neither through Teach Q&A nor through editing the linguistic schema are we able to define what the result of a given custom question should be.

We understand how questions need to be understood from an NLP-perspective before results can be generated, but we do not see reasons as to why Q&A visuals cannot support bookmark-like predefined answers to custom questions (without the need for the questions to be understood linguistically by the underlying NLP model), especially as we see many of our users asking these questions. 

1. Is there no way to predefine how specific, custom questions should be answered?
2. Are there any plans to add a bookmark-like feature to Q&A, allowing for mapping specific questions to predefined visuals as answers?
