Put comments in matrix like in Excel for each row

Hello team!

I'm searching for any ideas about whether it's possible in PowerBi to put comments like in Excel?

So I have a table where we have date and value, and what I want to achieve is that the user can manually put comments in that tale(matrix) for each row.

Hi @yakovlol 

What you're trying to achieve requires a writeback which Power BI does not natively support. This might become a thing in the near future (with Fabric,  that is) but I am not aware of the timeline. The are third party vendor apps that support this but they come with a price possibly due to the architecture behind. You could create a PowerApps app to leave comments as a workaround.

You could use the PowerApps visual to write to an excel file and display that.

Hello @SamWiseOwl thanks for this idea, I would do it with PowerApps.

I heard that somewhere this year will be announced that powerbi gonna release some new feature related to Import data directly from the dashboard/ something like Powerapps doing. But didn't find any timelines for this announcment

Hi @yakovlol  - Power BI does not have a built-in feature for adding comments directly to table or matrix visuals like in Excel

but in power bi services it is possible reference link:
