Hi,
I have a text column where i want to pull a word from the column. There are no delimitors to pull from. For the screenshot, i want to pull either PAT or Auto from column B. The words PAT/Auto are not always at the end of the text value so it is really just pulling the word from anywhere in the value.

Use a conditional column! Under Add Columns tab in Power Query Editor click conditional column and fill out the criteria!
Found_Text = iferror(MID('table'[column], find("FPTS", '8HP_Tatoo_Today_Link'[TEXT_1]), 9), "")
