Publishing taking too long

I know that filesize and transfer speeds are a factor when publishing but I'm just wondering if it seems slower lately to anyone else, uploads can take between 8-12 minutes and with no progress bar or ETA it just seems like forever.

I guess the real question is if it would be possible to implement a progress bar so the user can estimate how much time an upload will take 😛
