Publishing Message

Thank you for your willingness to help answer my questions, it is much appreciated.

I’m attempting to publish my first power bi tool from my Desktop version. However, I’m having some challenges with the view. My data sources consist of organizational PBI shared datasets; also excel spreadsheets that is located on MS Teams (my Team folder). This particular screen has the excel spreadsheet data that is connected to MS Teams. Upon publishing I get the below messages. Question: Is it possible to because something isn’t turned on or my teams(SharePoint) location? Any advice you can share is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi @Meechy612 ,

Have you solved your problem?
Your problem is with the credentials of the data source:

You can set it up here:

Before publishing, ensure that you can access all the data sources from your Power BI Desktop application. If you can refresh the data successfully in Power BI Desktop, it means your credentials are working locally.

After publishing your report to the Power BI service, go to the settings of your dataset in the Power BI service.

In the dataset settings, find the data source credentials section.

Here, you'll need to set credentials for each data source that your report uses. You'll usually use OAuth2 as the authentication method for SharePoint or Teams data sources.
