The maps I need are working perfectly on DESKTOP BI, but when I publish the data and the report, the information for Ireland is missing. Admittedly I'm only using the first part of the Irish postcode (see table above map) but it works perfectly on the DESKTOP. I'm using Edge browser or IE to display. Can anyone advise what might be causing this - it would be really appreciated. TIA. Barry
Hi @bc2m ,
What version of PBI are you using? Just tested out on the August 2019 version and everything is ok desktop and online.
Try to edit your report online and check if the map works correctly or not.

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsHave updated to latest August version of Desktop BI. And re-published. Desktop version shows Ireland plots, Portal / web version doesn't. I'm at a bit of a loss as to how to proceed. Unfortunately, it's the Irish data which is of more interest to our mangement. 🙂

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsHi
Version: 2.71.5523.941 64-bit (July 2019) for Desktop. Can't see where to get the August update.
I logged into Power BI WEB version portal. The Irish data plots are not appearing there, either (looks like the screenshot I sent previously). The gateway appears to be operational and I have had no sync alerts. I'm really new to Power BI. I can't see how to edit the report online via the portal... I'm missing something, but don't know what. Possibly the Bing map in power BI won't display the Irish area codes? But why does it on the desktop. I'm not over keen to switch to using lat/long for the Irish plots.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. Barry
I think I found the report designer in the portal. I don't seem to be able to open the published version in the portal though. I dropped a map and a table down and configured the map as I do in the desktop version. It doesn't display the post codes in Ireland - see attached screen shot.
I found the designer in the BI portal (in 'my workspace'), so created a new map and table (see screenshot). It doesn't display the Irish post code data. So there is something different between the portal and the desktop. (I couldn't see how to edit my own report in the portal though - it just displays as a report).
