I'm an amateur building a portfolio. I don't have any organizational email or workspace. I'm using the desktop version for free, at home. Is it still possible to publish to web? As far as I've found out, the report needs to be deployed to the PowerBI website or service first, which requires the email. It would be a shame to have to simply use a PDF or image of the report.

Hi @mbluck ,
Publishing local reports to the PowerBI Service website requires a work or school account login on PowerBI Desktop.
Logging in to the PowerBI Service website still requires the same work or school account.
You can sign up for an Office 365 E5 trial.
This will provide an enterprise account to sign up for PowerBI service and includes a PowerBI Pro license.

Having a PowerBI Pro license allows you to use the Publish to Web feature in MyWorkspace or other workspaces.
