I have published my report and I got the following error

I didn't find The Active Directory UserPrincipalName (UPN) , I am working on local machine and not on server , where to find it ?

I suppose that makes sense after I re-read your original post 🙂 If you're only running local without a domain, you wouldn't be a domain user.
From the tutorial: "The email address that is passed into EffectiveUserName has to match a UPN property on a local Active Directory account. For this reason, the Analysis Services machine has to be joined to a domain. The domain of the email address has to match a UPN Suffix within your local Active Directory."
It looks like you need a domain account to do this. I don't know enough about it to help with a work-around if there is one. Hopefully someone else here will, or you could try contacting the author of the post for his take on it.

Is your machine domain joined? And how did you configure the On-premises data gateway?
Active Directory UserPrincipalName (UPN) is a property of Domain User account Stored in Active Directory, and a local account of Windows system (if the machine didn’t join a domain) doesn’t have this.
If you use local machine to host the Databse server, there would be no logon server available to verify the authentication, when the data sources be configured to the local machine (not domain joined). Windows local accounts are only authenticated on the local machine(which only the local machine have the right to authenticate the account), while domain user accounts could be authenticated through Internet, or the network (bounded with Azure Active Directory). So Analytics Service Live connection is not available under personal local computer.
To have the Analytics Service live connection available under Power BI service, you need:

To find your Active Directory UPN, you can open the command line and run whoami/upn. Click the Windows button, type cmd into the search bar and hit Enter. Then type whoami/upn into the command line and hit Enter to return your UPN.
