I encountered a problem in the power query when I tried to promote the first row with a Date data as my header. Once it promoted to a header, leading zeros appeared in the headers. How can I disable this feature since I never encountered like this before?
I also discovered that the date format had been changed from MM/DD/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY. How can I disable this?
The steps were just copied and pasted from another pbix file. I expected that it would go smoothly but it didnt.

Did you ever get a fix for this? I had the same problem.
Hi,
I don't think that ultimately matters because to perform any further analysis, you will need to "unpivot Other columns" to get all dates in a single column.
I dont need to unpivot other columns since under these dates are currencies for different projects. The problem is the changing of the data format once it had been promoted as a header.
Hi @Anonymous,
Can you please share some dummy data that keep the raw data structure? It should help us clarify your scenario and test.
