Project Tracking Forecast vs Completion Date

Good Afternoon All,

This might be a basic questions, but seeking some advise.

I am looking at creating a simple visualisation that can tell me the number of projects that are on track to meet approved cost and schedule.

I am looking at using the Forecast Completion Date that we have through progress reports and then the Approved Completion Date all synced to my Excel spreadsheet (forecast and approved completion are columns within my spreadsheet).

I dont want anything too fancy, just a chart or something showing those ontrack to completion and those that are not.

If anyone could think of a way to acheive this that would be great. Thanks in advance!!

@TomFarmer24 , You can load your data and create a calculated column by going to modelling tab and new column to check status of project

OnTrack = IF([ForecastCompletionDate] <= [ApprovedCompletionDate], "On Track", "Not On Track")

Go to the "Visualizations" pane and select a chart type, such as a bar chart or pie chart.
Drag the "OnTrack" column to the "Axis" or "Legend" field well.
Drag the project name or a count of projects to the "Values" field well.

If you need more details please share sample data and indepth requirement

Hi,

Just have a follow on question.

If there is no data in the cells I would like 'Data is Missing' - do you have a solution for this?

Thanks in advance
