Project Online Resource Engagement - Resource Capacity vs Resource Demand data model.
Does anybody know how to model the Resource Capacity and Resource Engagement with the ability to filter by resource and day?
I have tried EngagementTimephased->Resource<-CapacityTimephased. When I try to view capacity and engagement in the same visual, the TimeByDay doesn't match up. If I try to keep the relationship and add in the Timeset table and add the link (EngagementTimephased->TimeSet<-CapacityTimephased) I get the ambuiguity error message (loop data model). Any tips on how to handle this?
Hi @colbertjg,
Can you provide some detail information about this issue?(e.g. detail steps, sample data, screenshots, data source...etc )
Regards,
Xiaoxin Sheng
Xiaoxin, thanks for the response.
I came in the next day and played around a little bit with the relationship cross filter direction types and it appears to be working now.
For others wondering how to get this to work in the future, this is what I used.
