Production Glidepath vs. Target vs. Month Completion
Hello, I have a report that pulls production targets and stretch target goals from an Excel file that we manually update each month.
We have a live data source connection to our system that tracks production that refreshes daily.
With that data, I have created a glidepath line chart that tracks actual vs. target vs. stretch.
I am also able to break this data down into various departments (technologies), but I am not able to attach that data at this time.
The technology bar chart shows how much targeted production is complete for the month (y-axis is technology list, x-axis is % of target. I have been asked to add another visual to this, a vertical line showing % of month completed, thereby showing if the % of target per technology is ahead/behind the % of month completed.
My data sources are not going to auto-calculate the month completion, and with each month having different # of days, I am not sure how to build this measure anyway, and then how to build the relationship between target completion % and monthly completion %. Below is a sample of the bar chart and a line chart currently in place, and a couple of tables representing targets and daily productions.
