Process_Name vs Status Chart in Stacked Column Chart

Hello,

I am new to Power BI and trying to build one chart.

My requirement is to show process_name vs Job_Status (failed, passed, Errored-Out etc).

I am thinking to use 'stacked column chart', but status is coming as count instead of value.I have attached some     screen shots for reference.

Could you please help? Why does power BI gives counts instead of actual value even if I am not summarizing.

Data for process logs which capture historical data with status

  date1 process1 passed

  date2 process2 failed

  date3 process1 passed

 date4 process1 passed

  • tina345 Hey ,
You can drag your status to legend section and also at your value (count of status ). and then date and process to axis according to your requirement . Kindly follow below image for your reference .

Attaching file (solution for your reference .)
If this solves your issues, please mark it as the solution, so that others can find it easily. Kudos

    are nice too.

    Thanks & Regards
    Harish

  • tina345 on the value section you can only have number values. maybe you can use a matrix visuals

    date on columns

    process names on rows

and on value use status and change the aggregation to earliest/latest.
