Problems with having 2 date dimensions?

According to my research, you can mark multiple tables as date tables.After you mark a table as a date table, you are not able to continue using automatic time intelligence.
The Auto date/time is a data load option in Power BI Desktop. The purpose of this option is to support convenient time intelligence reporting based on date columns loaded into a model.

Anonymous , You can mark the new date table also as date table.
The new dimension is only needed if you want filter dates on different duration. Else inactive join and userelationship can help
