Hello everybody!
I am facing a problem and would like help.
I'm currently connecting google analytics to power bi, using the native connection in power bi.
The connection works and the data is brought up, but I noticed that depending on the dimension I select, the power bi cuts out the information and doesn't bring me the complete data.
For example: By power bi, if I select the date, age and gender dimensions... and in metrics I select sessions and users, when I compare this data, they don't match the information that GA offers me. An addendum: In google analytics, I access the target audience report > Overview.
Would anyone know if I can bring the complete information? or how to solve this problem?
Thank you very much.
Hi, were you able to find a solution? As a workaround, maybe you can try to test your connection with a 3rd party connector. I currently use Windsor.ai's GA connector and I haven't faced any data mismatch. In case you wonder, to make the connection first search for the GA connector in the data sources list:
After that, just grant access to your GA account using your credentials, then on preview and destination page you will see a preview of your GA fields:
There just select the fields you need. Finally, just select PBI as your data destination and finally just copy and paste the url on PBI --> Get Data --> Web --> Paste the url.
