Problem with sorting years in Waterfall Chart

Hello everyone,    I have a problem with the waterfall chart. I would like to visualize a sales variance by year in a waterfall chart, but when I put the Year in the category field, on the visualiz...

I had a work around to be able to resolve the issue

  1. Go to Data View
  2. Select the Date database
  3. Right Click on the Header and click on [New Column]
  4. I named the column as follows: YearNew = 'Date'[Date].[Date]
  5. Then in Modeling select Data Type as : Date
  6. In the same group select Format > Date Time > 2001 (yyyy)
  7. Go back to your report
  8. Use the YearNew as the Category
