Problem with filter in dax

hey guys,

 

i trying to get the total rows (V_InformeAltas[Altas Actual Col]) for previus month but now with the change of year this dax stop to work. I think i need use year and month to get the value for the previus month in this case December 2016. 

 

Altas Ant = CALCULATE(SUM(V_InformeAltas[Altas Actual Col]);FILTER(V_Fechas;MONTH(V_Fechas[Fecha])=MONTH(TODAY())-1); V_InformeAltas[Altas Actual Col]) 

 

Can someone enlighten me?

    BudSpencer just use

     

    Altas Ant Last month = CALCULATE(SUM(V_InformeAltas[Altas Actual Col]);DATEADD('Date table'[Date column];-1;MONTH))

     

    don't know if the syntax is correct, I don't write it in PBI, just here in text.

    Hi BudSpencer,

     

    I think you should add a condition to check if these data are in the same year:

     

    Altas Ant = CALCULATE(SUM(V_InformeAltas[Altas Actual Col]);FILTER(All(V_Fechas);Year(V_Fechas[Fecha])=Year(TODAY())&&MONTH(V_Fechas[Fecha])=MONTH(TODAY())-1))
