Problem with different plan figures

Hello together,

can you help me with a problem? I have planned figures in one table and in another table I have the distribution of the planned figures over the year in percent. The special feature is that I have different plan numbers for group "B" and for group "G". In a matrix, I use a measure to calculate the target figures per month. This works as far as it goes, but the correct result is not added up for the total. I put some screenshots in, which describe the problem a little more exactly:

This is how the DAX looks like:

Do you have experience with this kind of calculation? Unfortunately I don't know the way to display the actual sum.

I appreciate your help.

Kind regards
dadata

  • Hi  dadata ,

Has discussed in our message please create a new measure with the following code:

    Proportion Total= SUMX(VALUES(category[category]), [proportion])

This should pick up the values for eaxch of the category and sum them all on the total in order to get the correct value has needed.

  • Hi dadata ,

This type of calculation needs to be done with a SUMX fuction and this is based on the the tables you have.

Can you please share a mockup data or sample of your PBIX file. You can use a onedrive, google drive, we transfer or similar link to upload your files.

If the information is sensitive please share it trough private message.
