Hi,
I have a problem connecting my PBI Desktop-file to Business Central.
I get this message when trying to Get data. I have a PBI Pro-license and I have a Basic-license in Business Central.
The really strange thing is when my collegue tries to Get data (with the exact same credentials as me) he manage to connect. But I cannot. How can that be?
Based on this old thread , can you follow these steps :
1) added as a guest user on client tenant
2) guest user assigned BC license
3) allow external users to access Power BI content on Power BI admin portal - tenant settings
4) On power BI desktop sign in to an organisation (client tenant)
5) open the BC connector
6) signed into BC in to an organisation (client tenant)
Is this really a viable solution for me?
As stated in the starting post: my collegue who is using the exact same credentials as me can get data from BC. But I can't.
There have to be a problem related to my computer or something. I have cleared the cache in PBI desktop btw.
I don't know how your laptop or the one of your colleague is configured.
Please try to connect Dynamics 365 Business Central with the built-in connector by Power BI Desktop.
