Hi,
I have a problem with my dashboard. I use the preselectet Slicer for my dashbord to filter a value for a advance card.
This works.
The Card show the value for the current month. I can use the slicer to show other month in this card.
But my problem is that i want to show the value of the same month of the last year next to the current month card.
And if I use the slicer both cards must change the value. The right card shoul show the value from the slicer and the
left Card should show the value -12 month.
I tried many things but I think the slicer blocked the right output.
Here is a Picture of the cards and the slicer:
I hope some one can help me with this.
Thanks.
Best Regards.
Atlan
HI @Atlan,
I'd like to suggest you can take a look at the following document about the edit insertion of visual/slicer. You can modify the interaction from the slicer to accurate control the filter effects of these card visuals.

HI Xiaoxin,
sorry but this unfortunately doestn't help me. I tried some other things. It won't work.
Here some pics:
The Preselection Slicer filters the month but the Card is empty or shows the same value like current month.
Do you have any idea?
Thanks and Best Regards.
Atlan
Hi @Atlan,
Have you tried to use date function to get the previous date? AFAIK, dateadd function may not so suitable for filter table records.
Time Intelligence "The Hard Way" (TITHW)
BTW, current power bi does not support to create dynamic calculated column/table based filter effects. They do not work on the same level, and you can't use child level of effect its parent.
Notice: the data level of power bi(from parent to child level)
Database(external) -> query table(query, custom function, query parameters) -> data model table(table, calculate column/table) -> data view with virtual tables(measure, visual, filter, slicer)
