Problem with ODBC connection to SAP
Hi,
I have an ODBC connection (system dsn) with the CData driver for SAP R3. The connection test works for me and if I try to connect to this connection from a tool like WinSQL I can access the data without problems.
Once the connection is verified, if I try to make the connection from PowerBI (using the ODBC connection) the system connects correctly but when loading the data it shows the following error message.
I have added the path where the dll files are in the global variables of the PATH environment. However, it still shows that error. The strange thing is that from the other applications I can access without problems.
Could someone tell me if I have to do something else from PowerBI so that I can locate that file and load the data model?

I have already solved this case in another way. The problem was that the system required that the SAP DLL files were in the path c:\windows\system32\. Once the change was applied, the ODBC connection on the PowerBI side works correctly.
Finally, I use an ODBC connection (not the standard connector that PowerBI incorporates for SAP).

I don't think you can use the additional DLL files on the power bi service side.
For security reasons, the power bi service will use its own data drivers, so these path properties of DLL files should not able to be recognized.

In my opinion, I'd like to suggest you use common data drivers or try to use a web connector with REST API:
