Problem to render custom visual, deneb, charticulator, etc.

We have some custom visuals built and used for our reports previously. Today my Power BI Desktop suddenly couldn't have these custom visuals rendered and setup for new reports. Does anyone encounter the same and have solution for this situation?

I have been trying to uninstall and install the latest version, but to no avail. Earlier today, I have attempted to upgrade Power Visual Tools in my PC. Not sure if this is the cause. If yes, how can I get back these custom visual to work on my PC?

Hi Everyone,

Awareness:

Power BI Desktop users who have updated to the latest version of WebView2 (127.0.2651.74) may encounter issues where custom visuals appear blank. A fix has been deployed. It may take up to 12 hours for the new configuration of WebView2 to reflect. Users may need to restart the Power BI Desktop app a couple of times.

Manage to resolve the issue after open and close Power BI Desktop for 2 times.

It's now back to normal 😊

I'm having the same issues. All custom/added visuals just stopped working.

Same problem here. I was working with an out-dated version of PBI (june 2024), I updated this morning and all gone wrong as described. Even downgrading does'nt fix the issue.
As long as I use the official visuals, it's ok. When I use any Appsource visual, bug appears and the report is not rendering correctly as described, even if I go back to use an official visual.

I suspect this was caused by a recent update of Microsoft Webview2 runtime...

I tried open the example from Deneb and Charticulator from AppSource. These custom visual also couldn't rendered successfully. Is this a common problem with latest Power BI or Windows update?

Exact same issue. Renders fine when uploaded it a work space.
Doesn't help because cannot create reports, but does reflect
