We would like to start using Azure Analysis Services next to our on premise Analysis Services so I activated a Azure Analysis Services but now I run into the following problem. I can connect to the source (Azure Analysis Services) and see the models that are on there.
But once I click on a model PBI Desktop never loads the tables and becomes unresponsive. When I try to connect to this model in Excel it works fine.
See the attached screenshot to see what it looks like in PBI desktop.

Hi @Tweeg ,
What connection mode do you, import or Live connection? Will it be slow to load because the data is too large, try to change the connection mode, if it still not work, please update Desktop to the latest version and clear the permission of AAS in Transform data> Data source settings>Global permissons, then try again.
